Bear Creek Acres
At Bear Creek Acres we offer pasture raised pork, chicken and beef. All our animals enjoy the fresh air and sunshine along with an all natural feed which contains no antibiotics, no hormones, no animal by-products, and no urea.
Pork by the whole and half is offered in the fall, winter and spring. It is a good idea to call and get on the list early because sometimes it fills quickly. Pork is also available by the individual cuts (chops, country style ribs, spare ribs,roasts, bacon and ham) both off our farm and at Natural Harvest Food Co-op in Virginia, MN. Chicken is offered aproximately July-October. The list for that has filled even more quickly. For July chicken it's a good idea to call in the spring. We are hoping to be able to raise more birds this year so that we don't have to disappoint customers. Stop by and say,"Hi" to us at Ely Farmer's Market and on Fridays at the Virginia Farmer's Market. We'd love to meet you and please, feel free to call the farm and talk to Mary Ann or Shannon. We know that buying meat directly from the farmer is new to lots of people and we welcome inquiries.
