JON Farms & Peach Shed
We are a family run and owned farm in the hills of East Pasco county. The farm has been in the family since 1936 and the farmstead is over 100yrs old. It is still used as a home and office for the farm.
We have low chill peaches, which were developed by the University of Florida, that are ready by the 1st/15th of April. We also have thornless blackberries and grapes (muscadine)that are in season June - October. We have a new 2500sq.ft. peach shed and hope to have a small store where we will be selling jam, jellies,etc; and Grandma Barn's World Famous "Flip & Fried Friut Pies" and homemade peach ice-cream. As the peach trees grow so will the store, this is the frist year for peach sales (08).. These peaches are tree ripe when picked, juicy and sweet. When you visit the peach shed you will find our free range, organic fed chickens, eating and scratching among the peach tree, vineyard and blackberries. We do sell fresh eggs to our friends.
